Presentations from the International Workshop: Building Citizen Centred Policies and Services, Ljubljana, Slovenia - 26-27 June 2008

Overview

The international workshop on Building Citizen Centred Policies and Services built upon the OECD's ongoing work on ensuring openness and inclusion in policy making, service design and delivery.  Its format and content drew heavily upon the knowledge and experience of each of the co-organisers who share a common goal. Participants had the chance to learn from a range of experiences in OECD Member and non-member countries and to gain greater knowledge of the tools and practices available with which to achieve their own ends. The event was co-organised by the OECD and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, with the support of the World Bank's Communication for Governand and Accountability Program (CommGAP), DECIM, the European Citizen Advisory Service (ECAS) and Involve.
