To date, over fifty countries around the world have used the Baseline Indicators of the OECD/DAC procurement assessment methodology to strengthen their systems and to monitor progress in building capacity. This includes members of the 22 pilot countries who applied the methodology starting in 2007 under the OECD/DAC Joint Venture on Procurement.
Most of these experiences have been undertaken in collaboration with development partners such as the World Bank and the regional development banks. It is the hope that the Task Force on Procurement will be able to eventually post all of these completed assessment reports on this website. Follow-ups are underway with these countries to seek their permission to publish their reports on this public site with the objective of sharing experiences and lessons in an open, transparent manner.
Other countries who have also applied the methodology and who are willing to share experiences, lessons and practices of using the methodology are invited to use this website.
