OECD Journal of Competition Law and Policy

This OECD periodical, published on a quarterly basis, focuses on an issue that is becoming of increasing importance, particularly as it relates to trade: competition law and policy. The journal draws on the best of the recent work done for and by the OECD Committee on Competition Law and Policy. Its articles provide insight into the thinking a competition law enforcers, and will focus on the practical application of competition law and policy.

Here's what Robert Pitofsky, Chairman of the US Federal Trade Commission has said about this new journal:

"Global competition is the wave of the future, and comparative analysis of the laws and practices of various members of the worldwide community of nations is a necessary corollary. This new OECD Journal of Competition Law and Policy, compiled from OECD Round Table discussions, summaries of recent developments, and articles on topcis of special interest, will introduce regulators, practitioners, and scholars to different regulatory approaches around the world and will allow us to consider in a more informed way the strengths and weaknesses of our own systems."

This title benefits from speedier electronic publishing by being rolled into the new OECD Journal. The OECD Journal has issues devoted to Competition Law and Policy, and articles will be published on the SourceOECD online version as soon as they are made available from the editors.  Readers will no longer have to wait for a whole issue's worth of articles to be completed! Volume and Issue numbering for the OECD Journal remains with with the component, in this case, the OECD Jouranl of Competition Law and Policy.
