Official visit of the Secretary-General to the Slovak Republic (4-5 April 2007)

During his official visit to the Slovak Republic, OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría met with the following representatives of the Slovak government:

• Mr. Robert FICO, Prime Minister
• Mr. Dušan ČAPLOVIČ, Deputy Prime Minister
• Mr. Ján KUBIŠ, Minister of Foreign Affairs
• Mr. Ján MIKOLAJ, Minister of Education
• Mr. Ján POČIATEK, Minister of Finance
• Mr. Pavol PAŠKA, Speaker of the National Council
• Mr. Andrej ĎURKOVSKÝ, Mayor of Bratislava

Additionnally, Mr Gurría's speaking engagements during the visit included:

• The presentation of the OECD Economic Survey of the Slovak Republic 2007.
• A speech on Regional Economic Integration and Globalisation, presented to the Regional Economic Conference on Eurozone Challenges & Opportunities.
