Indicators by subject published in Part One of the OECD Main Economic Indicators

In most cases, the series shown in this section can also be found in Part Two and Three, Indicators for OECD member and non-member countries.

It should be borne in mind that the concepts and definitions used to compile statistics are seldom exactly the same from one country to another and sometimes there may be important differences in methodology underlying the statistics for different countries. Nevertheless, the data are considered to be sufficiently similar to enable meaningful comparisons to be made between countries, especially in respect of the movements or rates of change of the various indicators.

Some of the more important differences in methodology and coverage are provided in the Explanatory notes and in the Main Economic Indicators: Sources and Definitions publication.
