Bernard Hugonnier, Deputy Director for Education, OECD

Since 2002, Bernard Hugonnier has been the Deputy Director for Education at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which he joined in 1978. He previously held several positions across a range of OECD departments dealing with international investment, liberalisation of capital movements and services, multinational enterprises and regional development. He also served as Head of the Management and Restructuration Service, Director of the publications programme and Deputy Director for Public Affairs and Communication.

Mr. Hugonnier holds a PhD in economics; he studied at University of Paris and at Pittsburgh University. He is a lecturer in economics at University Paris-Sorbonne.
