The 11th Steering Group meeting of the ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia-Pacific, held at the ADB headquarters in Manila, Philippines on 27-28 Mai 2008, had three main objectives:
to report on and discuss the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Action Plan for Asia-Pacific, including recent anti-corruption reform projects that have taken place since the last meeting of the Steering Group in September 2007;
to conduct a first discussion on the strategic directions and work program of the Initiative for 2009-2011; and
to report on and discuss reform progress in response to the recommendations that the Group expressed in its first thematic review on “Curbing Corruption in Public Procurement”.
