OECD Health Data Updates: Data, Sources and Methods, and Software Updates

The Internet update for OECD Health Data 2008 will be released in October 2008.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Latest available - October 26, 2007: OECD Health Data 2007 Internet update

Additional data and information on Sources and Methods have become available after the release of OECD Health Data 2007 in July. It is highly recommended that you integrate these updates into your software by downloading them from the OECD or IRDES Internet sites.

IMPORTANT: The EXE file for the Internet update is suitable for both single-user and network versions of OECD Health Data 2007. The online database is automatically updated (www.ecosante.org).

Procedure

1. On the Internet

DOWNLOAD and select the location where to save the executable file.

2. Under Windows

Once the file is downloaded, double-click on the icon to start decompressing the file. The file downloaded is a self-extracting (.EXE) file containing the database update itself.

IMPORTANT: To properly update the database, you must copy the file where you previously installed the ecowin2007.exe file (in the OECD Health Data 2007 folder named "Ecowin2007").

3. In the main window of OECD Health Data 2007

The database is automatically updated when you follow the procedure above. Once the update is completed, the title of the database on the main window is changed to "OECD Health Data 2007, October 07" and the date of the version under the title is modified to October 26 (Version 10/26/2007).

IMPORTANT:
- This update functions only with OECD Health Data 2007.
- Network version: the updating of the software should be performed by the network manager, and not individually by each authorised user.
Download the Readme text for further explanations on the update.
