Presentation on the Macro Management of Commodity Booms at the UNU-WIDER Project Meeting, Johannesburg, 5-6 September

OECD Development Centre researcher Rolando Avendaño attended the UNU-WIDER Project Meeting on Southern Engines of Global Growth: China, India, Brazil and South Africa (CIBS), held on 5-6 September in Johannesburg, South Africa. Mr. Avendaño made a presentation on the macro management of commodity booms based on a Working Paper entitled “Macro Management of Commodity Booms: Africa and Latin America’s Response to Asian Demand” co-authored with Helmut Reisen and Javier Santiso.
