OECD Health Data Updates: Data, Sources and Methods, and Software Updates
|
Latest release - November 5th, 2009: OECD Health Data 2009 Internet update
Additional data and information on Sources and Methods became available after the release of OECD Health Data 2009 in June. It is highly recommended that you integrate these updates into your software by downloading them from the OECD or IRDES Internet sites.
IMPORTANT:
- The EXE file for the Internet update is suitable for both single-user and network versions of OECD Health Data 2009.
- Note that the EXE will not function with any other edition of the database, but only with the 2009 edition.
- The online database is automatically updated (http://www.ecosante.org/oecd.htm).
Procedure
1. On the Internet
DOWNLOAD and select the location where to save the executable file.
2. Under Windows
Once the file is downloaded, double-click on the icon to start decompressing the file. The file downloaded is a self-extracting (.EXE) file containing the database update itself.
IMPORTANT: To properly update the database, you must copy the file where you previously installed the ecowin.exe file (in the OECD Health Data 2009 folder named "Ecosante").
3. In the main window of OECD Health Data 2009
The database is automatically updated when you follow the procedure above. Once the update is completed, the title of the database on the main window is changed to "OECD Health Data 2009, November 09" and the date of the version under the title is modified to November 5 (Version 11/05/2009).
IMPORTANT:
- This update functions only with OECD Health Data 2009.
- Network version: the updating of the software should be performed by the network manager, and not individually by each authorised user.
- Download the Readme text for further explanations on the update.
