This paper presents the IMPECT2 system used for processing short term economic statistics at Statistics Netherlands.  It contains detailed information on the use of efficient data editing processes (automatic corrections, selective editing), sophisticated methods for choosing important non respondents to follow up by phone, use of VAT data for small businesses and data imputation techniques.
