Cassandra Davis

Communications officer

Cassandra Davis has been working for the OECD for over thirteen years in the Education Directorate.

She is currently coordinating a new initiative to create a collaborative website: educationtoday OECD’s education lighthouse for the way out of the crisis.

Cassandra has been involved in a number of CERI projects, including publications such as: Schooling for Tomorrow: Learning to Bridge the Digital Divide (OECD,2000), Quo Vademus: The Transformation of Schooling in a Networked World, Understanding the Brain: Towards a New Learning Science (OECD, 2002),

Understanding the Brain: The Birth of a Learning Science (OECD 2007), as well as numerous other reports.

Cassandra holds a BA degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and a Technical Writing Diploma from the American University in Paris.

Prior to joining the OECD she worked for a translation company. She is also an international marathon runner.
