Background
The Copenhagen workshop is the third in a series of workshops that aim to uncover new themes, trends and practices in non-technological innovation. Previous workshops in London (www.oecd.org/sti/innovation/hiddeninnovation) and Trento, Italy (www.oecd.org/sti/innovation/partnerships) have focused on taking stock of hidden innovation and on partnerships for development and diffusion of innovation. The aim of these workshops is to build a broader understanding of new forms of innovation and analyse the key challenges posed to companies and policy makers by the emergence of new forms of innovation. The outcomes of the workshops will contribute to the development of the OECD Innovation Strategy.
Objectives
The Copenhagen workshop brought together 80 leading academics, expert advisors and consultants, innovation practitioners and high-level policy makers. It was a two-day event that included a blend of presentations, working groups and interactive discussions.
