OECD to publish results of its latest PISA survey on 4 December

26/11/2007 - How have 15-year old students performed in the 57 countries that participated in OECD's 2006 PISA - Programme for International Student Assessment - tests? Results of PISA 2006 will be published at 10.00 a.m. Paris time on Tuesday 4 December 2007, with news conferences and media briefings that day in Tokyo, Brussels, Berlin, London, Washington, Paris and Mexico (all times are local times).

• Tokyo: with OECD Secretary General Angel Gurría: Japan Press Club - 5.30 p.m. under embargo until 6.00 p.m.
• Brussels: with OECD Education Director Barbara Ischinger and Frank Vandenbroucke, Deputy Minister-President and Minister of Work, Education and Training, Flemish Government, Marie Arena, Minister-President of the French Community of Belgium, and Oliver Paasch, Minister for education and scientific research for the government of the German Community of Belgium - Paleis der Academiën,  Hertogstraat/Rue Ducale 1, 1000 Brussel  - 9.30 a.m. under embargo until 10.00 a.m.
• Berlin: with the Head of OECD's Berlin Centre Heino von Meyer and top German education officials, Bundespressekonferenz, 10.00 a.m.

• Washington: with Andreas Schleicher, coordinator of the OECD's PISA programme: National Press Club, Washington, D.C., 8.30 a.m.
• Paris: with Bernard Hugonnier, Deputy Director of OECD Education and Eric Charbonnier, at the CAPE (Centre d'accueil de la presse étrangère, Maison de Radio France, 116 avenue du Président Kennedy, 75116 Paris) 10.00 a.m. 
• Mexico: with OECD Deputy Secretary-General Aart de Geus (by video-conference), Mexican Education Minister Josefina Vázquez and the Director of the Mexican National Institute for Education Evaluation (INEE), Felipe Martinez Rizo: OECD Mexico Centre, 10.00 a.m.
