The workshop "Making Aid More Effective - Implementing the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness: Progress, Challenges and Opportunities" was held on 16-17 November 2005 in Entebbe Uganda.

The first in a series of regional workshops organised by the African Development Bank and the World Bank, in collaboration with the OECD-DAC and its members and UNDP, the focus was the discussion of the implementation of the Paris Declaration and the commitments made by donors and partner countries. Specific attention was paid to Managing for Development Results, through the focus on harmonisation around results reporting.
