The OECD is working with the Inter American Development Bank to establish a Global Project regional group in Latin America. A stream of research work and activities are being prepared.
Past Events
In order to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the institutions mentioned below have united our best efforts to organize the International Meeting “Social Cohesion and Social Well-Being: Inclusion and Dialogue from a Human Rights Perspective ”, which took place in Quito (Ecuador) on April 28 -29, 2008. The Meeting gathered together top scholars from the Americas and Europe, and its objective is to contribute to the academic / political dialogue on social cohesion and social well-being, and will be the first in its kind to include a perspective on human rights.
You may find the concept paper, the program and additional details of the event at: www.auditoriademocratica.org/60anniversary. The event was open to professionals and graduate students.
