Capacity-building seminar

Capacity-building seminar

Bogota, 17 September 2008

The day after the conference, a capacity-building seminar on local economic development was organised for a selected group of authorities and practitioners from Colombia and other Latin American countries.  The aim of this seminar was to discuss each other's experiences and learn from successful cases across Latin America and the OECD.  The seminar proposed four parallel workshops.  In each session, two case studies (one from Latin America and one from the OECD) were presented and served as background for a practical work with the group of atendees.  This day was facilitated by a group of high-level international experts invited by the OECD.  The eight case studies will be included in the final OECD-CAF report that is being prepared.
