A consultative meeting was held at the IEA in Paris on 12 October 2004, hosted by the Working Group on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Assets with representatives from Ministries and State-owned institutions in key non-member countries in order to have their input in the drafting of the Guidelines of Corporate Governance for State-Owned Assets.
Each session was dedicated to each of the six chapters of the draft Guidelines and was introduced respectively by:
- Dr. Sikander Dewan, Director General, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industry and Public Enterprises, India
- Mr. Carlos Mladinic, Chairman of the SOE Enterprises System, Chile
- Mr. Xiaoliang Jia, Deputy Director-General State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), China
- Mr. Peter Pedlar, Deputy Director General of the Department of Science & Technology, South Africa
- Mr. Vladimir Gusakov, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Financial Market (FSFM), Russia
- Mr. Tarcísio José Massote Godoy, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Finance, National Treasury Secretariat, Brazil
