Official visit of the Secretary-General to Slovenia (Ljubljana, 30 June-1 July 2009)

On the occasion of his first official visit to Slovenia, OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría launched the Economic Survey of Slovenia during a press conference in the presence of Mr. Mitja Gaspari, Minister without Portfolio Responsible for Development and European Affairs. 

He also met with:

  • Dr. Danilo Türk, President of the Republic of Slovenia
  • Mr. Borut Pahor, Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia
  • Dr. Pavel Gantar, President of the National Assembly
  • Mr Franc Križanic, Minister of Finance
  • Mr Ivan Svetlik, Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs

Slovenia is currently holding membership talks with the OECD.
