Global Network for Corporate Governance of Non-Listed Companies

The Global Network for Corporate Governance of Non-Listed Companies was launched at the International Experts Meeting held in Istanbul in April 2005.  The Network brings together policy-makers and practitioners from around the world to better understand global corporate governance challenges for non-listed companies (NLCs).  The objective is to gather global experience on the pitfalls of "over-regulation" and facilitate information gathering/sharing for policy-makers on the corporate governance needs of NLCs.

The Network will develop a checklist/reference document that would raise awareness and inform policymakers on where they can facilitate lowering burdens for NLCs.
