Kyuwon Kang

Trainee

 

Kyuwon Kang joined OECD/IMHE in October 2009 to work on the OECD Feasibility Study for the International Assessment of Higher Education Learning Outcomes (AHELO) and Supporting Quality Teaching in Higher Education.

She is a Korean national who has studied in both the United States and Japan. She is a PhD candidate from Waseda University, Japan, researching the regional integration of higher education in East Asia and official development assistance on higher education. She is also a research assistant at the Japan International Cooperation Agency Research Institute. She obtained her Master’s degree in International Relations from Waseda University and her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in the United States.

She is fluent in Korean and English and highly competent in Japanese.
