E-Leaders Conference 2008

Organised by the OECD and the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the 2008 E-Leaders Conference 'The Future of E-Government - Agenda 2020' was held in The Hague on 6-7 March 2008. The conference was chaired by Mr. William Perrin, Director, e-Government Unit, United Kingdom and was opened with an address by Ms. Ank Bijleveld-Schouten, State Secretary, Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, The Netherlands.

 

The event brought together the most senior government officials responsible for e-government in OECD countries to discuss three main issues:

  • Governments in 2020 - The Role of e-Government;
  • E-Government's impact on economic development;
  • Creating a future agenda for e-government and public sector service delivery.
