Steel meetings on 12-15 May 2003

The Capacity Working Group will meet on 12-13 May to conduct its second peer review of capacity and industry developments in economies participating in the High-Level process and to address related issues related to restructuring. A meeting of the Disciplines Study Group to further develop the elements of an agreement to reduce or eliminate trade-distorting subsidies in steel will follow, on 13-15 May. The two meetings will be preceded, on 12 May, by a consultation with industry representatives.
