CERI - University Futures: Conferences and Meetings

Dialogue with stakeholders and experts in higher education has been a central part of the University Futures methodology, together with thematic analysis. High-level conferences as well as meetings involving a single type of stakeholder group – such as government decision-makers, teaching staff or students – have taken place. As to futures activities, the latter has allowed consideration of the future scenarios and their repercussions from a single point of view with broad freedom of expression. Other events have encompassed several or all of the different stakeholders, making it possible to contrast different points of view and develop a common understanding of the challenges and opportunities ahead. Expert meetings with academic experts and stakeholders focusing on a specific theme have also been organised.
