Purchasing Power Parities - Publications
|
Purchasing power parities (PPPs) are calculated for Member countries at regular intervals. Data are presented for all OECD Member countries for GDP as a whole and for over 50 expenditure categories using benchmark years. Analytical tables compare PPPs, price levels and real expenditure between countries. Four publications are available:
- PPPs and Real Expenditures, 2005 Benchmark Year (2007 Edition) presents purchasing power parities and associated estimates of real expenditure on GDP for 55 countries: the 46 countries that participated in the 2005 round of the Eurostat-OECD Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) Programme and the 10 countries that participated in the CIS Comparison Programme for 2005. The Russian Federation participated in both programmes and provided the link between the two comparisons (click here to order the book).
