The Council Working Party on Shipbuilding (WP6) was suspended in late 2002 in order to redirect its resources to the negotiation of a new Shipbuilding Agreement. These negotiations were paused in September 2005 for an unspecified period. The WP6 will recommence its activities on 1st July 2006, and this Web site wil be progressively updated to reflect its deliberations and outputs.
