Gender Tipsheets

Spreading responsibility for integrating a gender perspective into development activities and policies is facilitated when staff have easy access to useful and readily useable background information. Suggestions on possible obstacles and tips on how to overcome them are also helpful. The Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) as well as the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) were major contributors to a series of "gender tipsheets" that fulfil both these needs.

These tipsheets provide essential information on how and why gender equality is a crucial dimension in all development activities.
