This report draws upon a survey of climate specialists in bilateral/multilateral agencies and IFIs, along with an extensive analysis of various documents, as well as offline consultations. The report is not intended as a comprehensive catalogue of all initiatives that are underway in this area, but rather as an overview of composite trends on progress made (as of mid 2007) as well as the challenges that lie ahead.
