African Economic Outlook 2004/2005: Project's Organisation

The African Economic Outlook Report is jointly prepared and published by the OECD Development Centre and the African Development Bank. The production of the report builds on all relevant analytic work already produced by research institutions and international organisations, while producing fresh insights into developments in individual African countries and including an overview on the continent as a whole. The project combines the expertise accumulated by the OECD, which produces the OECD Economic Outlook twice a year, and the knowledge of the African Development Bank on African economies. As part of the general efforts to ensure consistent improvements in the informative quality of the country notes, a peer review exercise involving seminars with African experts and country desks of the African Development Bank was initiated for the 2004/05 edition.
