New Fiscal observatory for the Latin-American region

The Fiscal Observatory for Latin America and the Caribbean (Observatorio Fiscal de América Latina y el Caribe or OFILAC) was launched on 24 January and aims to improve the quality of fiscal policy in Latin America by providing access to analysis, data, monitoring and debates throughout the region. Hosted by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, the OECD and the Development Centre provides content to the Observatory.

This initiative contributes to the improvement of fiscal policy through the dissemination of studies and debate with different actors. It creates a place for the analysis, discussion and follow-up of fiscal policy in the region and encourages the debate of fiscal subjects among employees from international organizations, fiscal authorities and other experts in the field.
