Conference on Intellectual Property Valuation and Exploitation, Berlin (Germany)

The conference "Intellectual Property as an Economic Asset: Key Issues in Valuation and Exploitation" was held on 30 June and 1 July 2005 at the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour, in Berlin.

The event was jointly organized by the OECD, European Patent Office (EPO) and German Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour (BMWA) with the aim of providing a platform for international experts in the field of IP valuation and exploitation to review current motivations and practices for patent valuation and exploitation across industry sectors and examine ways in which public and private sector organisations can improve the effectiveness of the system of IP valuation and exploitation.
