Department background

ADB's Operations Evaluation Department helps ADB become a learning organization by facilitating lesson learning from operations evaluation. It aims to conduct and disseminate strategic evaluations (in consultation with stakeholders); harmonize performance indicators and evaluation methodologies; and develop capacity in evaluation and evaluative thinking. Thirty years after its inception, evaluation in ADB has evolved from recording history to shaping the decision-making process throughout the project cycle and in ADB as a whole.
