Policy Areas & Activities

OECD’s global relations programmes cover the major policy areas of OECD expertise that are of mutual interest to members and non-members. OECD's work with non-members is conducted as part of the Organisation’s regular work within the relevant OECD Directorates. The CCNM aims to ensure that the dialogue remains focused, forward-looking and mutually beneficial.

OECD’s 2005-06 programme of work for co-operation with non-members includes more than 120 activities, mostly focusing on OECD’s areas of strength: multilateral rule making, monitoring through peer reviews, advancing policy dialogue through comparative research, capacity building through dissemination of best practices, etc. Outcomes are published on specialised websites within the involved OECD Directorates and on OECD topic pages.
