Chris Harman BA (Hons), MA, Chartered FIPD, is Interim Chief Executive of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, a UK city heavily involved in the regeneration agenda. With a background in public sector management and consultancy he has also written extensively on knowledge management and the knowledge worker in the e-economy. 


Mr. Harman was a major contributor to the United Nations 2008 Global E-Government Survey  “From e-Government to Connected Governance” and a speaker at the 7th Global Forum on Reinventing Government as part of the ‘Managing Knowledge to Build Trust in Government’ work-stream.


Mr. Harman  is Co-author of ‘Practical Training Strategies for the Future’ (ISBN 0273633953), 'Knowledge Management and the Role of HR' (ISBN 0273644564), and 'Knowledge Management' (ISBN 1854182307).
