Consultation on applying anti-bribery compliance measures to small- and medium-sized enterprises

This consultation, which is open to representatives of the private sector and civil society, will focus on the application of anti-bribery compliance measures to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and the OECD Good Practice Guidance on Internal Controls, Ethics and Compliance.

Consultation participants are invited to submit a written submission on the role SMEs play in the global fight against foreign bribery and how SMEs can successfully develop and implement anti-bribery compliance measures like the OECD Good Practice Guidance. All written submissions should include a brief description of the author’s organization and contact information. Written submissions will only be circulated among consultation participants and will not be available for public distribution.

Registration and written submissions are requested by 3 December 2010.

Practical information Venue - The consultation will be held at the OECD Conference Centre, 2 rue André-Pascal, 75016 Paris, France. Further information about this venue, including maps, directions and hotels in the area, is available on the Conference Centre website.   Registration - Participation is by invitation only. Please include your name, title, organisation name, and email in your registration request.   Language - The official languages of the meetings are English and French. Simultaneous interpretation to and from English and French will be available.   Confidentiality - Please note discussions held during this consultation will be private and subject to Chatham House Rule.
