Partnerships, Clusters of Enterprises and Cross-border Co-operation in the Hrvatska Kostajnica Region, Croatia, 6 April 2004

This seminar was organised within the LEED Trento Centre programme of work, in co-operation with UMIS-SMEA (Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Association), Croatia, and the Investment Compact. It was a direct follow up of the third CEI workshop on clusters, which took place in Hrvatska Kostajnica, 3 October 2003.

The LEED seminar aimed at reinforcing a new regional dynamism in North-East Croatia. It analysed how clusters, local partnerships and cross border co-operation can contribute to improving SME development and entrepreneurship in Croatia, and more generally in the context of transition countries. This workshop brought together practitioners, international experts and high level government officials.
