Review of higher education in regional and city development 2008-10: The Lombardy region, Italy

By participating in the OECD Review of Higher Education in Regional and City Development, the region hopes to:

  • Understand better HEIs’ strategies
  • Raise attention of HEIs on regional priorities
  • Improve co-operation among HEIs and other business and industry partners within the region, with a special attention to SMEs
  • Increase visibility of the higher education system at the international level in order to create opportunities for international co-operation with leading edge research institutions.
