High-level Meeting on Steel Issues Paris, 17-18 September 2001

A High-level meeting on steel was convened by the OECD on 17-18 September, in Paris, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Herwig Schlögl, Deputy Secretary General of the OECD. The meeting was organised at the request of governments, to address immediate and longer-term issues in steel. Governments and industry representatives from most major steel-producing economies participated.
