OECD Economic Outlook No. 77

10/05/2005 - The OECD will publish its Economic Outlook No. 77, containing its latest economic analysis and projections for major world economies at 11.00 a.m. Paris time (9.00 a.m. GMT) on Tuesday 24 May 2005.

The OECD's Chief Economist, Jean-Philippe Cotis, will present the Outlook at a news conference (in French with English interpretation) at OECD headquarters, 19 rue Franqueville, Paris 16ème, at 11.00 a.m. The news conference will be broadcast live on the OECD's website and the Outlook will be available in English, French and German on the OECD's password-protected website from 11.00 a.m. Paris time for immediate release.

Separate news briefings with OECD economists will be held via videoconference the same day, for journalists based in Berlin, Mexico City, Tokyo and Washington (timetable available shortly).

Practical information
Journalists will be allowed advance access, on request, to an electronic version of Economic Outlook by e-mail and under embargo, four hours ahead of release time. The text will be sent by e-mail on request only. In making such requests, journalists are asked to give an undertaking to respect the embargo. Requests to receive the survey by e-mail under embargo or to obtain a password to access the website should be sent by e-mail to Nicole Le Vourch , at the OECD’s Media Relations Division. Printed copies of the Economic Outlook can be mailed to journalists, on request, on the day of publication.
