This annual forum provides a platform for debt managers and other policy makers to discuss the latest developments in global bond markets, understand emerging practices, and learn from country experiences. This year, the forum focused on derivatives markets, a topic which is on the policy agenda of an increasing number of countries. Discussions included the use of derivatives by debt managers, foreign investor participation in domestic bond and derivatives markets, and the importance of derivatives for primary dealer operations.
The forum attracted senior level officials from debt management offices, ministries of finance, and central banks, as well as pension, insurance and capital market regulators.
