OECD presents World Forum project at the United Nations General Assembly

On November 27 the OECD spoke about the World Forum project during a thematic debate of the United Nations General Assembly on "Partnerships towards achieving The Millennium Development Goals: Taking Stock, Moving Forward".  The President of the General Assembly invited the OECD to speak about "Measuring the Progress of Societies": in particular the role the project could play in informing the debate around what, if any, set of global development goals might replace the MDGs when they expire in 2015. Jon Hall, from the OECD, joined speakers including Jeffrey Sachs (Kofi Annan's special advisor on the MDGs) and George Soros from the Open Society Institute.
