The Potential role of public-private-partnerships in the water sector of Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia

This work has been implemented through a series of workshops, jointly organised with the World Bank between 2002 and 2004. These events brought together key representatives from IFIs, the private sector and OECD donors to discuss stakeholder strategies for the region, identifying obstacles to a stronger involvement of the private sector and measures that IFIs and donors could undertake to help overcome these.
