Biography of Mr Mohammad Saeed, Pakistan: OECD Policy Dialogue on Aid for Trade

Dr. Mohammad Saeed is currently working as trade negotiator in Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the WTO Geneva, Switzerland since July 2004. He is Pakistan’s negotiator for Trade Facilitation and NAMA in the WTO. Currently he is the elected Chairman of Committee on Market Access of the WTO. Dr. Saeed (as he prefers to be called) has more than 20 years of experience of Customs Administration, Tariff and Trade policy formulation and implementation, and trade negotiations. Prior to his assignment at multilateral forum he negotiated various Regional Trade Agreements for Pakistan. He was among the visiting faculty of Civil Services Academy, Lahore, National Institute of Customs, Excise and Sales Tax, Karachi and Foreign Trade Institute of Pakistan Islamabad. Dr. Saeed an alumnus of Harvard University studied International Trade Law, Negotiation Skills, and Dispute Resolution & Conflict Management. Mobilization of Support Opinion and Strategic Management was his MAC (Major Area of Concentration) at KSG.
