To take advantage of the special rates, reservations must be made before 10 June 2008. Participants should contact the hotel directly to make their reservations and mention that they are attending the OECD conference. Room availability is limited and cannot be guaranteed; participants are therefore encouraged to reserve as early as possible.
The hotel is located 2 kms from the OECD Conference centre (see map). It should take around 10 minutes to get from the hotel to the OECD Conference Centre by taxi and a bit longer by bus (take the “PC1” bus which passes every 10 minutes). Please note that participants will need to arrange for their own transportation from the hotel to the Centre.
Click here for a list of other hotels within easy access of the OECD Conference Centre.
Participants should contact the hotels directly and request the rate for participants of OECD meetings.
Transport:
Most international airlines offer flights to Paris' two international airports: Orly and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle. From these airports, you can get to Paris by public transport, by car, by taxi or limousine.

Participants who will attend the IFA Congress in Brussels (1-5 September) should note that the TGV train is the best way to go to Paris from Brussels. From the Bruxelles-Midi train station, the train reaches the Paris Nord train station in 1 hour 25 minutes. Train tickets should be booked in advance through http://www.thalys.com/fr/en.
Visas:
European Union citizens do not need a visa to stay in France. For others, depending on your nationality, the length and purpose of your stay in France, a visa may be required before departure. For further information, please consult the French Foreign Affairs Ministry website.
