Biography
Felix coordinates the OECD Global Forum on Development, a series of events in which policy makers and experts are grappling with the growing complexity of international development finance. In addition to managing the Forum’s events, Felix conducts research on related themes and has contributed chapters to the 2007 and 2008 volumes of Financing Development.
Since joining the Centre in 2003, Felix has moderated conference sessions and delivered presentations at government and research institutions in Paris, Hanoi, London, Bonn, Pavia, Brussels and Ottawa. Together with Ángel Alonso Arroba, he fosters the Centre’s relations with foundations and is seeking to engage public and private donors around the issue of supporting developing-countries think tanks. In 2006, he helped launch DeFiNe, a global network of think tanks working on development finance.
Felix studied in Sydney, Berlin and Brussels and holds a Masters degree in International and European Law. Prior to joining the Centre, he worked for a company promoting Australian-German relations, volunteered as a language teacher in Russia and carried out desktop studies for NGOs such as Transparency International and the Jesuit Refugee Services.
