Capacity building for local development

In June 2003, the OECD Council decided to establish, in co-operation with the Italian Government and the Autonomous Province of Trento, an OECD LEED Centre for Local Development in Trento. The mission of the Centre is to build capacities for local development in OECD member and non-member countries, with a focus on central and eastern European countries. The Trento Centre is an integral part of the OECD LEED Programme.  More about the mission and objectives.
