Beyond 20/20 Statistical Browser on SourceOECD upgraded

A new release of the Beyond 20/20™ Statistical Browser used to build statistical tables within SourceOECD is available on SourceOECD. The new browser makes building tables and graphs on SourceOECD easier than ever.

New features include:

Redesigned User Interface

  • Updated Look and Feel with intuitive menus and tool bar.
  • Uses standard international metadata indicators.
  • Footnotes and missing values appear in popups.

Large Scrollable Area on Data Display Screen

  • No more paging - row and column headers are always onscreen

Improved Print Setup, Print Preview, Download

  • Print Setup separates reports into pages and adds a heading to every page. Footnotes go at the end.
  • Download to SSV (semicolon-separated values) as well as CSV (comma-separated values).
  • Icons for download to Excel® and Print Ready Output available on the report view.

Updated Data Selection Screen

  • Scrollable item selection area.
  • Controls for Expand All, Collapse All, to speed up item selection.
  • Shift-click for range selection.
  • Graphic indication of item, group, and level selections.
  • Report size is dynamically calculated and displayed when you make item choices.

  • Click through Scenario items, drill into Scenario groups.

New recommended Browsers and Databases

  • Supported browsers: Internet Explorer 5.0 and above, Netscape 7.0 and above.
  • Tested on Macintosh running Netscape 7.2.

Flash Demos

  • The optional Tutorials page allows user to choose from a list of customizable Flash demos.

New Toolbar

  • Holds all commands and frees up screen space for data.

Report Folders Metadata

  • Report-level metadata (summary notes). If a report has report-level notes, and Info icon appears besides its name on the Report Folders page. Users can click on the icon to read the notes.
