Working Party of Senior Budget Officials (SBO)

The Working Party of Senior Budget Officials (SBO) was established in 1980 and is composed of budget directors and other senior officials from OECD member countries. The SBO meets annually to address key budgeting concerns and relevant policy options.

The current chair is Gerhard Steger (Budget Director, Federal Ministry of Finance, Austria).

Public-private partnerships

On the topic of public-private partnerships, a publication was released in 2008 (Public-Private Partnerships: In Pursuit of Risk Sharing and Value for Money) and several meetings have been held:
