OECD/CERI Symposium: Measuring the Social Outcomes of Learning (SOL) (Copenhagen, Denmark 23-24 March 2006)

This symposium brought together both individual experts and country representatives. 

The aims of the symposium were:

  • To review initial outputs from the SOL project, and consider their policy implications.  The principal inputs will be major overviews on the key domains of health and civic and social engagement (CSE), but there will also be contributions on intergenerational effects of education, and some specific papers on  evidence from individual OECD countries
  • To consider a first draft of the overall SOL framework
  • initiate reflection on a possible Phase 2 of the project
