Sarajevo, 15-16 September 2008

The 2009 Investment Reform Index was launched in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the Headquarters of the Regional Co-operation Council, on 15-16 September 2008.

Governments and policy experts from the South East Europe region, as well as experts from the OECD Investment Compact for South East Europe introduced the process, developed to measure and communicate the progress made by countries in South East Europe (SEE) in improving their investment climate.

The launch marked the beginning of several rounds of consultations with governments, the private sector and independent experts across several key policy dimensions with impact on the business environment.

The findings and recommendations of the 2009 Investment Reform Index (IRI) process are scheduled for completion and publication in January 2010.
